AI visibility
AI visibility is the degree to which answer engines accurately name a company when people ask questions the company should be in.
Visibility here is not an ad impression and not a follower count. It is a property of answers. Ask the questions a buyer actually asks. Note whether the company is named, omitted, or described wrongly. That sample is the visibility.
A site can have traffic and still have poor AI visibility, if the pages rank for clicks but the passages are too vague to quote. The reverse also happens: a precise definition gets named in answers that send little classic search traffic.
